Roaring killer....

World diabetic day......and we have the honor of not so a proud Nation to get into top six .....most diabetics we have...and we are suppose to be poor and getting worse each day......so where is the fault? we have so many a leading renowned physicians working towards creating awareness as well as treating to the best...but it doesn't seem to be working.....as family physician, my assessment , has been , failure of diabetic to comply on his/.her physician's guidelines on , diet as well as regular medication and exercise. Only two out 50 ...will follow regularly, not regularly using their glucometers to keep check ...for one reason....can't keep away from meals......fear of getting into insulin......so much co-ordination needed from all levels.and my opinion its getting into epidemic proportions.
